ATG “Buyback” Program Overview
Improve Serviceability of Devices. At this point all of these legacy devices are out of warranty. Break/Fix service on these devices is a slow and expensive process. Displacing this equipment with new devices that are under warranty makes this problem go away. Frequently Asked Questions· Question: What if my device types are not listed ? Answer: We can establish a Buyback Program for almost any type of equipment. Please contact us (301-330-6260 x 510) for a custom quote · Question: What steps should I take to return legacy devices ? Answer: The first step to be taken is to insure that the service plans on all devices have been cancelled with the carrier. After cancellation of the service plans, the client should follow the return instructions that are emailed to them. · Question: I have accounting issues that prevent us from taking “buyback” checks. Are there any alternatives ? Answer: Yes. We can make the check out to their carrier and reference your account number , this payment will then appear as a credit on your account. A second option is we can issue a store credit from our accessory webstore - www.ATGSTORE.COM · Question: When will I receive my buyback payment ? Answer: ATG will issue a check within 4–6 weeks after receipt of the old devices. · Question: How do I identify my models ? Answer: Typically the model number will be visible on the front of the device. Most model numbers are on the back of the unit underneath of the battery. · Question: I am very busy and do not have time to inventory the equipment. Can you inventory the equipment and tell me what we have? Answer: Yes, we can inventory the equipment for you and provide you with a listing of what was submitted to ATG. There is no additional charge for this service. · Question: How do I handle personal information on my devices ? Answer: You have a several different options. The first option is that you can take ownership for removing any confidential information from your devices. Obviously the cost for this option is simply your organizations time and energy. A second option is to utilize ATG’s data cleansing service to engage them to wipe all information from your devices. The cost for ATG’s data cleansing service is $7.50 per device. · Question: If I elect to have ATG cleanse the data from my devices what can I expect ? Answer: ATG’s device cleansing process will provide complete data cleansing for both the memory in the device and any SD memory cards that are installed. ATG will provide your organization a listing of all of the devices on which this service was performed and provide a certificate of cleansing for your records. Pricing Assumptions · Returned units are to be in good working order and need to be complete. Any incomplete configurations will be prorated. Normal wear has occurred – screen issues will make the unit ineligible for return. · Payout on the devices will be reflective of the price grid that is in effect when ATG receives the equipment.
